Meet the team: Q&A with 3dverse co-founder and occasional foodie — Pierre-Adrien Forestier

23/02/2024 by Patil Angaladian (Marketing Director)

Our team is at the core of everything we do, from building the prototyping to talking to clients to ensuring everyone at 3dverse is pursuing their passions. We sat down with our team members to discuss everything, and we mean everything- from their favorite superhero to the biggest start-up challenges.

First up in our series is our foodie co-founder, Pierre-Adrien Forestier.

When and why did you join the team at 3dverse?

While I was working at Microsoft, I was helping Sylvain and Houssem, and when we had the MVP in 2020, it was the right time for me to join and support the business. The opportunity to create a new market and innovative tech that was cross-industry was why I officially joined the team.

What is your role within the team?

I am the business Lead trained to keep the team aligned on the short-term strategy and long-term vision.

If you could describe 3dverse in 3 words, what would they be?

Disruptive, Innovative, Huge Potential (*editor’s note- ok, we allowed Pierre-Adrien to use four words).

What is your vision for 3dverse?

Delivering the best real-time 3d rendering platform to empower any developer to create business applications. Resulting in fixing real problems in their industries!

When I see many successful applications built on top of our platform, I will feel very fulfilled.

What is your biggest challenge? And your biggest opportunity?

We are creating a new market, and the challenge is ensuring the market understands our value and the new possibilities that 3dverse is bringing them.

Favorite 3dverse Collaborate feature?

It’s the ability to see in real-time what other users watch in the viewer. And this is because we wanted to show the core features that the 3dverse platform can bring to the market. For me, seeing that feature in 3dverse Collaborate is the best feature.

Biggest learning while working at 3dverse?

Learning about the team, working with them, and customers.

Quickfire questions:

Favorite superhero?

Superman, because he can fly.

Last meal on earth?

I would start with foie gras and strawberry pie for dessert.

Favorite book and podcast?

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, and Tech & Co. to keep in touch with the French market.

How do you take your coffee?

One long black in the morning and a double espresso after lunch.

Last movie or show you watched?

Chef’s Table Season 1
